How do I enter the eight in-game slider positions?
Match each of the eight positions from left to right. This calculator counts them from 0 to 7, so subtract 1 if you count the in-game boxes from 1 to 8.
Does Overall affect the Tomodachi Life personality result?
No. The calculator uses Movement, Speech, Energy, and Thinking. Overall is not part of the personality calculation.
Can different slider settings produce the same personality?
Yes. Each personality covers a range of combined slider scores, so more than one setup can reach the same result. A preset is one matching setup, not the only one.
How do I get a specific personality?
Open the full chart or browse the personality types, then select a type. The calculator will move the sliders to one matching preset that you can copy into the game.
Why does my calculator result not match the game?
First check that the far-left position is 0 and the far-right position is 7. Then confirm the slider labels, selected NA or EU region, and game version because labels and personality names can differ.
Are North American and European personality names different?
Yes. Several personality labels use different names in the North American and European releases. The NA and EU toggle changes the displayed names, not the calculation.
